ResumeSieve Integration For Zoho Recruit
Resume Sieve (The Sieve™) is a highly specialized resume screening solution that focuses on the screening, scoring, and rank ordering of candidates. Our proprietary technology substantially improves user productivity by rapidly comparing resumes against user-selected job requirements.
Zoho Recruit’s integration with The Sieve™ allows you to connect your Zoho account with your Resume Sieve account to share data and reduce repetitive data entry. Once connected, you can import jobs and candidate resumes from Zoho Recruit to your Resume Sieve account with a few simple clicks. In this article, we will cover how to:

Sieve Login
Sign in using your Resume Sieve account or click “Sign up” to create a new account.
Create a New Account
Enter your email, a password, complete the “I’m Not a Robot” validation, then click Create an account.
Enter your contact details. Enter your organization name. If your organization’s name is not present in the dropdown list, click “Add Organization” and complete the address.
Once you have entered the required information, review and agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. When finished, click “Register”.
After you complete your registration, the above message will be displayed. Please check your email for a verification link.
Note: Users who are part of an existing organization will be given access upon approval from the Org Admin.
After opening the above email from The Sieve™, please click “Verify my email” to confirm your email address.
Profile Update
To access Zoho Recruit, you go to your user profile. Click on the user icon in the upper right of the screen of The Sieve™ and then click on “My Profile”.
Scroll down to the Connect to Your Service Provider section. Using the available dropdown list, select Zoho and click “Connect Service”.
The Zoho authorization process varies depending on the end-user’s role within Resume Sieve. An individual user in Resume Sieve with the role of Org Admin must have an account in Zoho with data administration rights in order to approve an integration with Zoho Recruit If you don’t know what Zoho Recruit access you have, check with your Zoho Administrator
The Sieve™ Organization Administrator
In this case, the Org Admin is taken to the Zoho login page where they can sign in.
The Org Admin must click the Accept button to allow Resume Sieve to access data within their Zoho account.
The Sieve™ will validate the ID provided and display a message if the connection was successful.
If the Resume Sieve Org Admin enters a Zoho Recruit account without data administration rights, they cannot approve the integration and the above error message will be displayed.
Members of an organization with the role of Recruiting Manager or Recruiter where the Org Admin has granted ResumeSieve access to data within their Zoho account
The end-user enters their Zoho account ID number
The Sieve™ will validate the ID provided and display a message if the connection was successful.
If the ID is invalid, please confirm the ID number in Zoho Recruit and repeat the Connect To Your Service Provider steps.
If the Zoho Recruit ID is active and the connection process continues to fail, please click on Connect with Support and open a support ticket.
Import a Job
From the Jobs screen click the “Import” button and select Zoho from the dropdown list.
A list of open jobs where the end-user is the assigned recruiter is displayed. Select a Job from the list and click the “import” button.
The job name and job description are imported from Zoho Recruit. Click the “Populate Job” button and the job description will be parsed. You can also manually enter the job criteria.
If you opt for the job description to be parsed, any previously entered job criteria will be replaced. Click “Proceed” to parse the job description or “Cancel” to manually enter the job criteria.
Based on the parsed job description, a list of skills is displayed. Select the skills desired and whether each is required or preferred. When done, click “Proceed”.
The weighting of requirements can be reviewed and adjusted if necessary.
When your satisfied that the job requirements have been sufficiently captured, click “Save & Done”.
Resumes
From the Resumes screen click the “Import” button and select Zoho from the dropdown list.
A list of previously imported jobs is displayed. Select a job from the list and enter an optional name for the import group. Click the “Import” button.
Click the “Refresh” button to see the resume information populated on the screen. The Sieve™ imports the candidate resumes associated with the selected job from Zoho Recruit. Each imported resume is parsed and stored.
Imported resumes can be displayed and downloaded from The Sieve™ if required by clicking on the resume icon within the desired row.
If needed, an end-user can click on the filter icon to identify a custom group of resumes from the resumes previously imported to The Sieve™. Using any combination of the available filters, the end-user can return a list of matching resumes from their resume inventory. Once satisfied with the filtered list, the end-user can select all or some of the resumes using the checkbox in the header row or individual checkboxes. Then click on the My Sieve button to jump to the My Sieve screen with the custom group of resumes already loaded.
The Sieve™ also allows the end-user to select one of the following groupings of imported resumes from the My Sieve screen:
Date Range
Last 30 Days (select resumes loaded in the last 30 days)
Last 60 Days
Last 90 Days
All Time (select all resumes)
Custom Range (select resumes based on a from the date and to date)
Import Group
Lists available import groups. The end-user can select one or multiple import groups to include when they Sieve.
My Sieve
From the My Sieve screen select a job from the dropdown list.
Using the resume dropdown list, select the appropriate resumes to be Sieved. The resumes can be selected by date range or by import groups.
One or more import groups may be selected, then click “Apply”.
When finished with your job and resume selections, click “Sieve Now”.
The display of the Sieve evaluation results contains all evaluated resumes in their rank order and indicates whether or not the candidate meets all required criteria.
The filter option on the My Sieve screen allows the end-user to display only candidates that meet required criteria, candidates that did not meet required criteria, or all candidates.
The user can click on any row in the Sieve results to display the Resume Detail screen.
